THE MARKET OF GRACE

After traveling through Central American countries and seeing poverty first hand, our Founder felt the tug on her heartstrings to be an agent of change in the world.  The Marketgrace is a result of that tug.  As a social enterprise with the desire to alleviate poverty, this marketplace provides an economic platform for artisans to sell their goods, and is also an outlet that provides opportunity for three things:

• First and foremost, showing grace and love to others, as the Lord has shown us — when the world is falling apart at every turn, we exist to love our neighbors, near and far away.  It’s only through the grace of God that this marketplace exists, and it’s our primary desire to use this journey to glorify Him.  To grow His Kingdom by means of this store is an honor, and that's why we donate 25% of certain home good proceeds to global mission organizations and Missionaries.
• Economic empowerment for people in poverty — selling fair trade products allows artisans the opportunity to work in safe environments and earn fair wages for the items they produce.  Economic empowerment is not "giving" money to those in need, it is instead an outlet for people to earn a sustainable income from the sale of their goods.  
• Placing fair trade and American made product within your reach — by offering these products, we make you aware of their availability, that this product is sustainable, and that you can change lives by shopping responsibly.  Fast fashion isn’t the only option and by shopping The Marketgrace you’re choosing to be bold, be different and do what you can to change the world, one purchase at a time.
